Story of a little Squirrel Moral Stories
We should not give up any task by feeling nervous or frustrated. If we try continuously, we will definitely get success. Let us read an incident related to the life of Mahatma Buddha.
The name of Mahatma Buddha’s childhood was Siddhartha. He was a prince but he did not seem to mind. One day he left home to get knowledge. He meditated a lot in dense forests but did not gain knowledge. Troubled the body for a long time and remained hungry and thirsty. There came a time when he got frustrated. They could not believe on their own whether they would be able to succeed or not.
At that moment Mahatma Buddha felt thirsty. He got up and reached near a lake. There they saw a squirrel. That squirrel dived repeatedly into the lake and came out and lay in the sand. Had to run for a dip in the lake again. Mahatma Buddha was very surprised to see this. They approached the squirrel and asked him, “Little squirrel! What are you doing? “
The squirrel said, “This lake has eaten my two children.” So, I am drying it. “
Mahatma Buddha was very surprised to hear this. He then asked her, “Is it possible what you are doing?”
“I don’t know it, but I’ll keep trying until it dries up.” The squirrel replied.
Mahatma Buddha was very surprised to hear the squirrel. They said, “It does not seem possible in this birth.”
Hearing them, the squirrel said, “Little water like this
I will probably dry this lake after removing it. It is my belief.”
Mahatma Buddha understood the point of the squirrel. They understood that we should be engaged in our penance. We must trust ourselves. Only then we will be successful.
